Events of Serum Thalassemia Prevention Federation, 2026
July 2, 2026: General Meeting of the Serum Thalassemia Prevention Federation was successfully held at the SERUM Auditorium.
July 1, 2026: A Thalassemia Awareness & Screening Camp at ITI Howrah Homes, organized in association with the Rotary Club of Calcutta Midtown and the Serum Thalassemia Prevention Federation, featured an awareness session, an interactive quiz, and 196 Thalassemia Carrier Tests, reinforcing the importance of early detection and prevention.
June 25, 2026: Barsha Baran 2026, organized by the Serum Thalassemia Prevention Federation at the SERUM Auditorium, brought together an evening of music, culture, and celebration to welcome the monsoon.
June 24, 2026: Sri Sanjib Acharya, Secretary of the Serum Thalassemia Prevention Federation and CMD of SERUM Group, visited Labandrad Vidyapith for a Thalassemia Awareness Camp, highlighting the importance of carrier screening and prevention among students and educators.
